Ireland marriage proposal

When I decided to propose to my girlfriend I knew it had to be special. At the time she had been planning on going to Ireland for a study abroad trip through our university; The university of missouri - Columbia (MU). I knew as soon as she told me she was going that Ireland was the only place to propose. I coordinated with the trip advisors for months to planthis. I picked a place that was one of the stops in Ireland for the study abroad group. The was the Carrick - a - Rede rope bridge. This bridge was used hundred of years ago to get to a smaller island to fish off the coast. Its about two hundred feet over the ocen and has wood planks barely wide enough to place both feet side by side. I flew over to Ireland after my fiance had been there for about two weeks, took a train and a few different buses to tr and meet up with the group the same time that the arrived at the bridge. I had to take a driving tour bus with all my luggage on a three hour bus ride after I got to Ireland to get to this bridge. Our tour bus was late and after I told him my story he drove a large coach bus about 60mph up a coast road to tr and get me there on time (BAD IDEA!) Anyway I arrived about ten minutes before the group of 13students and coordinated with the bridge operators to make Whitney cross the bridge first as I waited on the other side. Karen the group leader drug whitney out onto the bridge and told her she needed a brave recruit to cross the bridge with her first. So as whitney and karen started out across the bridge I was using a group of random strangers to hide me so I could stand very close to the bridge w/o whitney seeing me. Once Karen got down to the brdige she quickly crossed it and left whitney standing confused in the middle of the bridge at which point I started crossing it from the other side. When she saw me she started crying and was pretty confused, but I got down very carefully on my knee and asked her to marry me. Of course she said yes and i had arranged to stay with her for the rest of her trip which was about another week that we stayed in ireland together and the we flew home together. We plan on gettting married once we graduate and both get degrees.
