Diamond Carat Weight

Carat weight is the largest factor when determining the value of a diamond. Carat weight is the weight of a diamond using the measurement carat. Pretty simple right? Well, not entirely.

One carat is divided into 100 “points”; so for example, a diamond that weighs 0.85 carats is equal to 85 points. Remember weight is just one small factor in the value of a diamond. Just because you have two diamonds that weigh 0.85 carats, doesn’t mean they will be even remotely close in price.

High quality diamonds can be found in many different sizes.
