Take a roll in the leaves together during the fall. As you’re both lying in the leaves, pull the ring out of your pocket and ask them to marry you.

Create an autumn feast, complete with pumpkin pie and apple cider. Afterwards, take a long country drive and ask them in amongst all the wonderful colored leaves.

Take your sweetheart on a hayride or to a pumpkin patch and propose as you take in all the autumn smells and colors.

Get a big scarecrow for your front yard at a local crafts store. Put it out in the yard with the ring attached to it’s neck. Add a sign (using safety pins) that asks “Will you marry me?”

When raking in the fall, rake the leaves into a heart shape and get down on one knee as you tell your partner that you want to marry them.

Winter Marriage Proposal Ideas

Write your proposal in the snow with food coloring - just bring your partner outside by suggesting going for a walk to get hot chocolates and propose in a quiet area. You could even have the proposal written in the snow ahead of time.

Take them on a sleigh ride and propose as you snuggle together under a blanket.

Scratch it out in the ice on their wind shield to find when they comes out to their car in the morning. Be waiting at the door so that you can pop the question.

Have a snowball fight with the ring in one of the snowballs. When the snowball crashes on them, have them find the ring, or point it out right away.

Build a snowman and have it hold the ring box in his stick hand. Have your partner come look at him and propose when they see the ring.

Jigsaw Puzzle Proposal Idea

This is one of my favorite ideas, check out these make your own jigsaw puzzles. Give your partner the puzzle in a box, wrapped as a present. They will open it and start to solve it, in fact you can work on it together, only to come to the last piece and discover that the one piece is in fact,missing. You’ll produce that piece hidden from your pocket, which reads “Will You Marry Me?”

Buy a photo album, the more romantic it looks the better. Make an photo montage in the album of your relationship, with pictures of the two of you during important moments. Add in other bits of memorabilia, like ticket stubs or plane tickets. On the second to last page write “What Could the Future Bring?” and on the last page write “Marriage?” Be ready right away to get down on one knee!
