I was in labor for our daughter, lying in the hospital bed when my boyfriend brought in a stuffed bunny holding a balloon that said, “I love you” and a rose. I cried over the bunny and the balloon, and told him the rose was beautiful, not really paying attention to it. He told me to look closer at the rose, so I did, and noticed it had hinges. So I opened it and there was a beautiful diamond ring. It was already an emotional moment, with his family and my family there waiting for the baby to be born, so at that point we ALL cried! And I said yes, of course! Our daughter was born the next afternoon, and we were married nine months later!
