When I met Jessica, I fell head over heels immediately. She was gorgeous, funny, and she played hard to get. Finally I landed a date with her and we hit it off. She was so fun to be around that I just couldn’t get enough of her. We met at college so we were both very busy but we always found time to spend with each other. I knew right away that I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life but I had no idea if she felt the same. Then when I was finally willing to give in and tell her how I felt, she surprised me by whispering that she loved me and couldn’t be without me. So that night while she was at work, I went and got her a ring. I always would walk her home from work, but I was running lat, so she was angry when I got there. I was so nervous that I could barely look at her. Once we got back to her dorm room, I was disappointed to see that her roommate was there. But I decided to ask her anyway. However, when I pulled the box out of my pocket, I dropped it and it went behind her bed. I had to convince Jessica that I had dropped something that she needed to pick up for me, so she got on the floor to find it. She couldn’t figure out what she was looking for so I had to tell her it was a little black box. When she finally got it, she went to hand it back to me and I told her to open it. I asked her to be my wife then and I will never forget the look on her face or the tear in her eye as she said yes. And even though it didn’t go as I had planned, I married the woman of my dreams and she cherishes the way I proposed to her.
